We have an exiting opportunity for "Project Planner" who would support Project Delivery Managers in the build and maintenance of MSP plan

• Build and maintain baseline schedules for Project Delivery Managers.
• Build initial plans from Excel based costing tools and reviewed with Project Delivery Managers on a frequent basis.
• Support scheduling activities for new projects with multiple stakeholders
• Report monthly performance against plans, including risks to key milestones and interim client deliverables.
• Conduct scheduled reviews with Project Delivery Managers to ensure that project plan dependencies are updated on at least a weekly basis.
• Manage project scoping and helped to support the identification and documentation of out of scope activities.
• Provide SME support in MSP.
• To be responsible and accountable for daily and accurate completion of timesheets

• 1-3 years working as a professional project planner with MSP as the primary planning tool
• Demonstrable knowledge of managing projects, tracking and reporting progress using MSP.
• Built and maintain baseline schedules for Project Delivery Managers
• Built initial plans from Excel based costing tools and reviewed with Project Delivery Managers on a frequent basis.
• Supported scheduling activities for new projects with multiple stakeholders
• Reported monthly performance against plans, including risks to key milestones and interim client deliverables.
• Conducted scheduled reviews with Project Delivery Managers to ensure that project plan dependencies are updated on at least a weekly basis.
• Managed project scoping and helped to support the identification and documentation of out of scope activities.
• Provided SME support in MSP.
• Demonstrated teamwork with other members of a PMO team to ensure a consistent project planning approach across departments and Project Delivery Managers

Skills Required:

• MSP to an advanced level is essential.
• Excel to an advanced level is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively to many different levels of stakeholders.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Proven experience working in a dynamic, matrix environment on a
  large number of widely varying projects and programmes
