Quanticate, the Biostatistics and Data Experts, are engaging with suitably experienced finance professionals for the role of Commercial Finance Manager. The role we are recruiting will be instrumental in supporting Quanticate’s core operations that deliver client services within the Clinical Trial, Research, Pharmaceuticals spaces. We specialise in oncology, rare diseases, and provide services and solutions to international pharma market leaders and biotech giants.

Role objectives

• To provide a full management accounting service for Quanticate, including the provision of monthly reports, monthly reforecast, annual budgets, and project accounting
• To support Operations with detailed analysis of financial and operational KPIs through the month-end review process
• To calculate the monthly revenue recognition and manage the invoicing process including profitability analysis and project review covering the entire project life cycle
• To manage the projects and activities within the company’s Project Management Application
• To understand what drives the profitability of the functions and to recommend how to increase profitability

What we’re looking for

• Qualified commercially minded management accountant/finance manager
• A minimum of two years’ experience post-qualification (CIMA, ACCA etc)
• A demonstrable history provisioning monthly reports, monthly forecasts, annual budgets and facilitating full project accounting services
• Expert, demonstrable knowledge of Excel, Power BI and Power Query
• Experience managing reconciliation and invoicing of major clients
• A confident line-manager and mentor to oversee 2 direct reports and 1 indirect
