We are looking for Programmer's to provide high quality, timely & advanced programming support that conforms to current Quanticate and client-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes, as well as applicable regulatory requirements.




  • Deliver excellent customer care in support of genuine value and a great customer experience.
  • Provide high quality deliverables and appropriate communication to the client within expected timelines and budget as directed by the Project Lead.
  • Contribute to dataset specifications, programming plans and table shells.
  • Program derived SAS datasets as appropriate.
  • Program tables, figures and listings according to the SAP or to a specified client requirement.
  • Perform quality control checks and complete quality control documentation for programming plans, specifications, and outputs/derived datasets.
  • Perform other reasonable programming tasks as requested by management.
  • Have a good understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines.
  • Familiarity and understanding of current Quanticate, and client-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes, as well as applicable regulatory requirements and/or guidelines on behalf of the client.
  • Follow appropriate Project Management procedures.
  • Work to the appropriate standards of the project.
  • Communicate effectively with project team and assist the project lead in fulfilling the project responsibilities.
  • When required, the programmer should fulfil project responsibilities at the level of Programmer III for single studies. This will be under supervision.


  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a numerate discipline.
  • Foundation knowledge of SAS, good programming techniques and clinical trial reporting requirements, with willingness for further development.
  • Understanding of basic statistics
  • Programming experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or medical sector.
  • If you have programming experience covering activities from study set-up to final reporting it would be advantageous

The Programming Group


With approximately 100 SAS Programmers spread across each of our global offices, the Programming Group is Quanticate’s largest department. The UK and Canada teams report to a Senior Director of Programming based in the UK, and the ROW teams i.e. Poland, India and South Africa, report to a Senior Director of Programming based in Poland.





This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a SAS programming career within a CRO that specialises in data-related services. You will have the opportunity to work as part of global project teams, gaining exposure to multiple high profile, global studies for major pharmaceutical clients, and providing valued input to the Programming function at Quanticate.
