  • Overview

    We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our global team within our head office in Hitchin as the Commercial Administrator.

    The role will sit within the Contracts and Proposals (C&P) department and provide daily administrative, logistics and technical support to commercial and operational teams.

    This role would be well suited to a junior administrator who is keen to develop their Excel skills and progress a career in pricing or proposals.



    • Ongoing administration duties include;
      • CRM/Salesforce support (tracking, running reports and making updates)
      • Updating relevant tracking documents/databases
      • Running and updating periodic metric reports
      • Setting up proposal templates
      • Setting up of excel budget templates
      • Setting up teleconferences and on-site meetings
      • Taking minutes and relaying actions from teleconferences and meetings
    • Other commercial responsibilities;
      • To support with any initiatives led by the commercial team
      • Ongoing administration support of pricing tools
      • Support with client ‘request for information’ (RFI) responses

    Useful skills:

    • Experience using Microsoft applications (primarily Word and Excel)
    • Good analytical mind-set (confident working with numbers and pricing)
    • Excellent communication skills (confidence to liaise internally and externally)
    • Can work independently and as part of a team


    Qualification & experience requirements:

    • Holds a Degree (desired by not essential)
    • A-level or equivalent
    • Experience working in a commercial setting
    • Experience in previous pricing roles would be advantageous
    • Knowledge of Pharmaceuticals or Clinical Research would be advantageous
