    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Proposals Associate to join our Bangalore office!

     

    As a Contracts and Proposals Associate you will provide sales support to the Global Business Development team through the management and control of proposal and contract documentation and processes.

     

    Responsibilities

    Your core responsibilities will be to:

     

    • Provide general administration to the C&P team, i.e., preparation of covering emails, maintaining contract filing, handling inbound and outbound telephone calls, etc.
    • Prepare budgets and proposals to support the global Sales team activities
    • Process and understand RFP/study documents to distribute to Operations
    • Manage the bidding process through continuous communication with Operations to ensure adherence to client deadlines
    • Prepare, issue and control all contractual agreements (including Change Orders)
    • Support the BD Handover Process
    • Account Management responsibilities
    • Support Operations activities including business wins and revenue recognition
    • Support the invoicing process
    • Support the development of new business processes and tools

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

     

    • Holds a relevant degree
    • 2+ years work experience in a similar role
    • Previous proposal writing experience, preferably in a CRO environment, ideally full service (including clinical)
    • Previous experience in a commercial environment or service organisation
    • Experience in the life science or pharmaceutical industry
    • Previous contact with contractual processes
    • Good communication (written and oral), interpersonal and organisational skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Some level of analytical skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Proficient telephone manner
    • IT literate (including all office packages)
